On June 13, China Coal Group joined hands with Jining Qiming Eye Hospital to launch a public welfare free eye clinic themed Bright Eyes, Healthy Lives. The activity delivered professional ophthalmological services, health education and thoughtful benefits to employees and their families.
The event kicked off with a lecture on eye health delivered by Director Zhu Xukai from Qiming Eye Hospital. He explained common misconceptions about eye use, prevention of frequent eye diseases and scientific eye care tips. He also interacted with participants to help them develop good eye habits.
Following the lecture, the free clinic began. Medical staff provided a full range of services including eyesight tests, computer optometry and slit-lamp examinations. They screened for myopia, astigmatism, corneal diseases, cataracts, pterygium and other eye conditions. After examinations, doctors elaborated on test results and offered targeted treatment and eye care advice, helping everyone fully understand their eye health. Meanwhile, the Group negotiated with the hospital to secure exclusive benefits for employees and families, effectively easing difficulties in medical treatment and reducing related expenses.
This free eye clinic is a practical initiative of China Coal Group to care for employees' physical and mental health.
